TVG PolarSUN is a breakthrough product from iBer, breaking the current fixed schemes in photochromic and polarizing lenses. It is an innovative combination of both types of glass mentioned above, which makes them stand out on the German market.

Unlike conventional photochromic lenses, Transitions® Vantage™ has polarization but compared to polarizing lenses, the product is completely transparent indoors. Only when the glass is exposed to UV radiation do polarization and the phototropic molecules become active simultaneously.

The secret of Transitions® Vantage™ lenses lies in the use of variable polarization instead of a conventional polarization layer with a fixed base tint. Using an innovative technology, molecules of photochromic glass become active under the influence of UV radiation, changing shape and position depending on the angle of incident light and forming a polarizing filter. The variable degree of polarization depends on the intensity of UV radiation. The darker the glass, the stronger the polarization effect.
