Polycarbonate

Polycarbonate is a plastic known for its exceptional resistance to mechanical impact. Pure polycarbonate is used in helmets for astronauts, aircraft windows and by Formula 1 drivers.

Resistance

Polycarbonate is 12 times more resistant against mechanical effects as traditional CR39. It is recommended for children and active persons, who do sports and work under hard conditions. Polycarbonate lenses will met the highest expectations of sophisticated customers.

Polycarbonate has a high refractive index of 1.59 and is 20% thinner than standard CR39 lenses with a refractive index of 1.5.
